Charlie Piechart has rounded up his list of suspects (except Mom, of course) and is on the hunt for the missing slice of Pizza! Math has never been so mysterious and so...fun! 

Eric Comstock has illustrated numerous children's books in the past, but is bringing his very first book as illustrator AND author to Ashley Elementary. You and your kiddos have the opportunity to place a pre-order for the book, Charlie Piechart and the Case of the Missing Pizza Slice, by filling out the form below and returning it to the library by Wedesday, September 9th. Pre-ordering your copy of the book ensures that a your student will have a book of their very own for Mr. Comstock to autograph when he is here on the 15th! What a cool memory! 

The presentation will be for students in Kindergarten through Third grade, but all students have the opportunity to order Mr. Comstock's book!

Don't you just love new things? New colored pencils that are freshly sharpened. New clothes that fit just right. Going to new places that we have never been before. I love new things! 

Maybe that is why I am so excited about this year - everything is new! The year is about to start and I get to meet new kids at a new school. My name is Mrs. Whittaker and I am the new librarian here at Ashley. I can't wait to meet each and every one of you. I have been in the library working like crazy to make sure that this year is going to be awesome.
